Scarlette Fever – Elated Review

Released on 18th September is Elated, the 3rd single taken from the impressive debut album Medication Time. The song is released on Starfisch Records and she has already been confirmed at the tour support for Roachford on his 15 date October/ November tour.

Elated is a beautiful piano driven ballad which is soft and soothing. It follows in the footsteps of Black & White which was the 2nd single that Scarlette released and it is extremely different when compared to each other. This song was co-written by Scarlette with Andy Wright, and it was produced by Julian Emery (McFly, Lissie).

This is what Scarlette had to say about Elated:

“It’s basically a song about growing up. The stark reality that there isn’t always a happy ending, that dreams don’t always come true. Those of us who don’t go on the Jeremy Kyle show tend to put on a brave face; we ‘keep calm and carry on’. This is a song about what lies beneath”.

I simply love this song and it has to be one of the many showpieces from the debut album Medication Time.
