Albums To Look Out For: Ke$ha – Animal

On 1st February the Animal is unleashed. After only one single Ke$ha releases her debut album. After seeing Ke$ha live at her London debut I eagerly anticipate this album.

The original UK release date for this album was going to be in April but the release what brought forward to February. I predict and hope that this album makes a huge impact on the UK albums chart. When released in the US it knocked Britain’s Got Talent runner up Susan Boyle from the top spot.

The album is currently being streamed on the official Myspace page and I am eagerly waiting for February to come. The album features 14 tracks (the UK will get 2 bonus tracks) and the style is electronic pop.

The lead single was Tik Tok and has been lingering in the Top 10 in the UK singles chart for 10 weeks. If you think this song is good then wait till you hear the rest of the album.

I have only heard 5 songs live and I am hoping I get the chance to hear more tracks live. My favourite track off the album has to be Hungover it has some beautiful lyrics sung at a fast tempo. The chorus is fantastic. Every song on the album is catchy from opener Your Love Is My Drug to the closing song Animal. Take It Off sounds like it could of been sung by Britney Spears. Kiss N Tell is a fast paced song with some really good lyrics. Stephen is a steady paced song but i has a gentle feel to it. Blah Blah Blah has been re worked and now features 3OH!3. The other two new tracks are Blind and Dancing With Tears In My Eyes both song are perfect. It also features Dinosaur, Party At A Rich Dude’s House, Backstabber and Boots & Boys.
